This tour of downtown Yonkers was originally published as “A Walking Tour of Historic Downtown Yonkers” by the Yonkers Environmental Impact Advisory Commission. The original tour was written and designed by Ponni Mukundan and Michael Rebic, edited by Rita Tomkins and made possible through the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s Yankee Intern Program and the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation’s Local Environmental Assistance Program.
