Five years after the death of John Copcutt, in 1900 the house and surrounding lands were sold to Saint Casimirs Church. In 1910, the house was converted into a convent for the Sisters of the Resurrection and remained in this use until 1955 when it was transformed into a Rectory. For the last 82 years the house has been the cultural and spiritual center of Yonkers Polish community.
