Park Building
As land values soared in the downtown, taller and larger office buildings were erected. The new Art Deco style made its appearance with the construction of the Park Building in 1929. Recessed windows set between bold piers that project well above the parapet accent the sense of upward movement and verticality associated with the style in this design by William Katz. |
